Ok about time i let you all see this car have had it for 6 or so years now it was my first car and i learned how to drive in it and all i know about cars with it. The sad thing is rust as got hold of it and as started to kill it well that was 3 or 4 years ago and i gave up on it i even tried to sell but deep down i couldn't let the car go even when some one was coming to buy god know why but i kept it and now i would sell it even when i need to the money i sold my escort starlet cortina the lot but not this car why you ask well i love it ;D
so here it is it a 1982 Vaxuhall Chevette 1.3 built in June 1980 it a Sun Hatch 2-door Saloon but it was sold in 1982 and is in a nice color of tiffany silver i got the car with 26,000 mile on it it as near 50 or 60 now the car is orgnail right down to the light bulb any way i'll let the pictures do the talking
This is what it look like now
So what needs doing Wings rusted can be repaired Passage inner wing is well gone Door bottom gone Passage inner sill is doing nothing Passage A post is hole Fire wall is hole too breaks would be nice master cylinder is dead engine runs like a bag of nails and a lick of paint
I need and someone here might be ably to help me a master cylinder and exhaust manifold for the 1.3 mine are shot
i found some more picture of when i got the car this picture do not show how bad it was when i got it had to do both rear wheel arch both sills one inner arch and the front valence and a few holes in the boot

ya its a 2 door very particle for me when i was at school but not after i drove it for 2 year when i finished school and found i needed a 4 door car but i ended up with a 2 door van something went wrong there
It looks cleaner then mine i prefer 2 door saloons i had a few hatch back and never liked the back of them very bland looking
I was out at the car today just moving stuff at of the way to see the rust again it seems to get worse every time i see it but i have started to write a list of parts i need and looking for some body panels
I was looking for a picture of the inside which i can't find one any way the seats are a gray leather with gray door cards there is no extras so very bland the way it will stay i'm going to make this car look like it just left the factor
now this i new was hear but what the hell is going on with paint i had this repair when i got the car it looks like filler was used oh you can see a seat
So i'm going to see if the driver side is the same

Ya back to the way it was I've always liked the silver and the little touch it as like the halford bling stuck on to it but you can't see it cause the car is silver and black strips the engine is the old one going back into it but rebuild back to OEM spec and ye i have my work cut out but at the ended of the day it will be worth it
fair play keep it up my brother is in wicklow doing a sillhouette model hatchback they were black with red hs stripes he might have some standard stuff left over from his as he was modifying it to take a 2.0 xe pm me i will send on his contact number.
Wow. If you can bring that back I have NO excuses for my Ro80 regardless of what I find!
