I was tempted to go, but as I'm taking the old girl up to Santa Pod on friday and generally I hate the A406 I couldn't get the courage to go.
Some cars their (the blue vette & the 2 lane chevy) were at Chelsea on Saturday night. The '35 Ford is a car I'd happy drive home in.
It may be your pics being early shots, but it doesn't look mobbed like it used to get there

It may be your pics being early shots, but it doesn't look mobbed like it used to get there I didn't really take many photos once it got busy inside. Car park was rammed full by about 7.30/8.00 and there were cars parked all over the place outside too. So pretty busy. Bar queue right out the door too. Possibly less rods and more stock yanks inside than there used to be.

Yes please! Not being up on my American cars (in any shape or form!) I'm going to have a wild guess at a Mercury Cougar... but don't laugh too loaud at how far from the mark I am. Whatever it is, I'll take it. ;D Thanks for the pics Seth. Makes me envious that I'm not as close to the Ace as you are.

Australian Charger?
Seth - Yep looks busier from those shots. I don't mind it moving towards more yanks and less rods as long as there's a good turnout.
Kinda feeling like it would have been worth going now!

LOL - I didn't even notice the whole RHD thing!
OK, so different continents, different manufacturers and a large dose of having it spelt out for me (thanks 30psi) I have one more car added to my knowledge base....yet still none the wiser on American cars ;D

I'm with you Bruce, my American car (and Australian for that matter) knowledge is appalling.

Nice shots there Seth! (I can even spot myself lurking in the background in one...) Really loved the look of this one, saw it drive past put didn't see it again.. Was a good turnout, some fantatic cars there! I'd have happily driven home in the '59 Cadillac given the option, no idea where I'd park it though...! Cheers for sharing and nice to see you last night!

Forget the cars.... ;D ;D Cracking photos as ever Seth. I'm just staring at this... ...and wondering how you even start on a paint job like that. Incredible. And this: is spot-on. That shape suits being sat on the floor so well.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Buying a BMW or a Bentley & looking cool is easy, but the credit doesn't go to you.Taking an unloved car that cost £500 & making it good enough to get photos in magazines or stand out alongside cars that cost one hundred times more is a skill reserved for us loonies!
