Hi i am after a simple if there is one wiring diagram of how to wire up indicators and hazard light on a classic that only has trafficators,flags that flip up.I have googled but no luck.Thanks All

Class project for today - Adapt the circuit above so it does the same job with only 1 flasher relay (like most cars do) hint - hazard switches have more than two poles  |

Aye, fixed the "troublesome" non functioing indicators in my last Mk5 simply by plugging the hazzard light switch back in.  |

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

Actually, I've had another look at that circuit... what is it going to do if you have indicators and hazards on at the same time? I don't think that would pass an MoT.

The hazard switch needs to be a changeover. Got a Beetle one in front of me here and it's got 7 terminals. (One's for the built in warning light.) Did you still want the trafficators to pop up too? If so, you'll need a couple of relays I think. |

Yes i was wanting to still use the trafficators to work but not when i turn the new indecators on if thats possible.So does anyone have a drawing with the changover switch i as i not really good at reading more of a picture person.Thanks for the help.

 Found this, but it doesn't have the hazards. And there's no way to disable the flashers and have just trafficators which I guess is what you're after? edit: Here you go. Lots of different schemes as used on VWs over the years: www.nls.net/mp/volks/htm/signals.htm |
