I had a Laguna RT 16v a few years ago (it was cheap!) that the PO told me was a homologation model for something - I don't know how true that is but it definitely had the biggest OEM body kit I've ever seen on a 'guna. The BGW was very B & pretty darn G It also had a fairly epic front splitterything, which I accidentally knocked off rolling into a grassy bank in a pub carpark, then sold to a complete stranger who came out of the pub after seeing me kick what was left of the mountings off & lob it in the boot ;D

I am loving these BTCC threads. They're great! I may well have to dig out my TOCA game for PS1!
Looking at these pictures of Laguna's is making me realise how well the design has aged; ideal for a euro treatment.

Just a quicky... do you know you have written John Cleland in the original post.... I'm sure it was Jean Cristoph Bouliion who piloted the laguna in later years..... (but 1995 was Menu and Will Hoy, please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Another of my old poster scans. The late great Will Hoy has two goes at driving Lagunas, first for the works team and later in place of Russell Spence at Arena after Spence had shoved the car over the Oulton Park fencing

I always liked the Arena car because of its lack of sponsors. Probably because it made it look more like a road car

(120 quid) as no one wants a 230 pound a year tax 18 year old saloon nowadays. I like it more than my 309 though now.
