I also struggle to believe that there are 1887 Buick Wildcats on the UK roads.
They have no Oldsmobile Toronados on and I know there are a couple of dozen here at least. In fact (excluding F-85s) they only have 5 Oldsmobiles in total for the UK.

In fact (excluding F-85s) they only have 5 Oldsmobiles in total for the UK. Odd, the Oldsmobile numbers in the copies I downloaded yesterday are: Taxed:"Missing" model (just registered as "Oldsmobile") : 248 Delta: 11 Toronado: 9 F85: 1 SORN:"Missing" model: 78 Toronado: 11 Delta: 6 F85: 1 And, for Buick Wildcats: Taxed: 3 SORN: 1 Also 372 taxed and 108 SORN "missing model" Buicks, some of which might be Wildcats - can't blame the spreadsheet for what the dealer / importer decided to put on the forms! edited to add: Just noticed that, after searching for a particular model, you must reset both the make and model columns to "all" before trying another. Otherwise you end up searching for things like Morris Veyrons or Bugatti Minors ;D

I love this thread. You can never have too much car info-porn when you're supposed to be doing work. I'm data mining just now, I hope to bring some interesting facts to the party shortly.

I’m struggling to find mine. 1978 ford Cortina Mk4. Think it used to be a 2.3GL auto. I believe it comes back saying 6 but there seems to be other versions too. it confuses me . I was told not too long ago that there are hardly any Mk4’s of the 2.3 variety left now as most got banger raced or just fell apart with rust. Saying that, mine isn’t exactly original any more.

That's an excellent link! Bond Equipe: 73. SORN: 51. Presumably that's all models of Equipe. Also, there is another row where the vehicle model is missing, so I suppose some more Equipes could be hiding in there. Stats for the Mercedes are a little harder to find as "Mercedes 200" could refer to many models.

Apparantly there are 73 Thunderbirds on the road. There's got to be far more than that.

My Austin Sprite is one of 82 still known to exist (on and off road) in the world yet as far as DVLA are concerned it's registered as a far more numerous Austin Healey. Paul H 0 Galant GTO's or Colt GTO's on that list :/ The model names aren't 100% reliable because it depends on what was put when it was registered - check your V5 for what they called it Could also have been listed under model "missing" or "unknown model"

I know they're far from extinct but could someone look up how many peugeot 205's are left?? as I haven't got excel on this pc Any specific model? They've got lots listed which range from 3587 (GTIs) down to 1 (GRD diesel and several others) currently taxed. Edited to add: Just saw your sig block. They're showing 363 Styles on road and 1205 on SORN. Ffor some reason they're listed across two entries, but no-one said it was perfect

69 Skoda s100/s110 variants 18 Skoda s110r coupes When I got my first S110R the official statistics were that there were 7 left. I wouldn't be surprised to find the number rising though as people import them or restore/find them. I bet there's loads more split screen campers here than there were fifteen years ago!

Mmmmm - I think there's something we might not undestand about this list:
For example, having looked up my retros I then checked on my daily car - it's a Rover 75 Tourer - when I found the figures for the 75 I couldn't beleive how few were left. However, inspecting the list more closely, the Rover 75 models appear in 4 or 5 seperate blocks on the list not all in one place. Also some of the models seem to be duplicated in various places on the list and some models don't appear at all.

i got the same problem, not working with my laptop! i don't believe these figure either, although it is interesting reading.can you differentiate between body types? on the opel kadett c forum, we only know of 3-4 examples of the estate left in the uk. one in ireland is on the road, but the rest are not. i'm importing a holden gemini estate in the next couple of months from oz (their eqivalent) and i reckon that will be the first in the uk. i'll have to update my software on my lappy!!

What a shame! I can't tell the BMW models apart, eg a 323i can span between 1975 - 2000+, there are unique model numbers, is there some sort of lookup table I'm missing?

Yeah the database seems very messy. I suppose it gives a good indication of the numbers but some of the figures seem awfully low when you compare it to just those that are owned by RR members and feature in the Readers Rides threads.
