Damien - It will physically drive, just not legally. I might be able to find some reasonably priced transport for you if needs be. However I'm not interested in the clio I'm affraid - would want the cash Stricklyderv - I do like my soot-blasters would need some more info on it's current condition and what you are thinking in terms of P/X. I have a few other offers I'm pondering over that rolled in today. Absolutely gutted one fell through as some guy wanted it to rebuild with his Son - thought that was perfect then he changed his mind at the added cost of transport

Have you seen transporterhire.co.uk ? They rent a car transporter with a winch for about £60 for a half day, or £95 for a full day. It's not cheap, but it's a lot cheaper than paying someone to pick it up for you. Might help out potential buyers. I haven't used them myself, but I'm probably about to - got a 914 I need to sift out of a friend's garage.
PS - love the 'Sud. I had two of them, and still hankering a bit after the series 1 Ti

Take a look here s834.photobucket.com/albums/zz263/max_tait/ Shows everthing thats been done to the car, as you can see its very tidy Its a 205 Dturbo 1.8 turbo d, genuine Dturbo which are very rare only make about 500 173,000 miles, but drives perfect (I'm a mechanic so all the works been done by me) t&t and Full service history I would like cash my way, atleast 300 as of the rarity of the car as you won't find a white Dturbo in this condition what engine has yours got? and bhp?

Sounds good dude, but I'm not up for the cash bit as I have none kicking around! The sud is a 1490cc flat 4 with 2x Dellorto 36 DRLA carbs, I recently rebuild the engine and carbs and not had it rolling roaded yet. But I would guestimate around the 100hp mark. There are only 5 sud SC's left on the road so there not exactly Mondeo's If you fancy a look-see or a trip around the block let me know.

Completely understand dude. Good luck with what ever you find for your next venture! It's a shame as those who are mechanically minded tend to really enjoy the layout and how easy it is to work on these cars! I'm close to tempting the missus to let me have a weekend away from the family to lock myself in a garage with it, some sheet metal and a MIG welder. Funniest thing happened last night - a guy contacted me via Pistonheads so I gave him a call. He wants the car, and he owned it 2 owners ago! Goes to show the attractions of this harsh mistress

Good news, I hope it goes to a good home, afew months either way and I'd've bought this instantly, I've been desperately trying to justify it for the last week, but I am going roadtripping in Canada & N. USA in a month so saving pennies like mad..
She looks a cracker, been looking for one on and off for years now..
Good luck!

This is extremely tempting. don't know a huge amount about alfas but theyve always been vehicles Ive been interested and fond of getting to know better.
Just pondering If you sold with the original alloys + a part ex with a off the road 93' Nissan Micra (shabby but is still a great runner from A to B) + a little cash your way would it interest?
