Lovely. Never really had much time for Sceptres but that one rocks my boat.
For wheels I would maybe go for something like Torq Thrusts. Don't know about PCD and availability though so maybe Slotmags, they look good on anything

AS well as carbs you'll need to cut & shut the manifold, It'll be at 7 degrees & needs to be parallel. webbers go for £150+ dellortos a bit less (on the whole) I found some Solex twin 40s for about £50. Go for a set off an 1800 alfa, should be pretty close on jetting. By dodgealpine at 2011-09-19

If they're not parallel it affects the float heights in the carbs & can lead to flooding and all sorts of Nasties. If you check the link to my website it shows 2 ways to do it

Got it on ebay last week, used but ok, been waiting to find one for 3 years been outbid on 2! They can be had from some of the Alpine parts suppliers.( GOOGLE) About £290 but vary in quality i believe. Nice motor you've got there, I always Lust after them when I see them. Want to know anything just ask, cheers & good luck!
