That red one is on eBay for £2k now. Nice.
As for Nathan's ride, well it should be in my grubby hands soon. He must have sold it to someone in newcastle as that's where i'm collecting it from. Probably paid too much but overtime shifts should cover the extra. Restoring it and will use as a daily runner. Engine swap is tempting. Seen a few starlets done up that way and I like.

Hi just bought this car the other day, was a bit rusty around the arches and the front offside wing, the previous owner had this repaired and now I've went and bought it, looks great now, with it's beige exterior and beige interior, not many everyday 80's Japanese cars left now, plenty of mr2's rx7's and z cars but the school run cars are a rare sight now

Awesome. Glad to see it still on the road and the crusty bits gone. The springs were chopped by a previous owner somewhere along the chain but it went through the mot fine when i had it. If you want some clutch and handbrake cables then i have some for free.

Love it when you see an old thread revived because a new owner has the car, good work Looks weird on chopped springs, hatchbacks don't suit them imo

Unfortunately it failed it's MOT on it's cut springs, needs a bit of welding too, have been told cut springs aren't a mot failure, just need to find a place that'll pass them, i'm not really bothered about lowered suspension, what does annoy me is that it is a very rare car and as such parts are very rare for it too and you'd think whoever cut the springs should have taken it's rarity into consideration, but yeah any spares would be much appreciated, it came with a shed load so i'll check first

Unless they are clamped at the top they can pop out, even if they are clamped at the top they can still not seat back properly if you go over a huge bump. I know - I have a Volvo with hugely cut springs I'm replacing for the MOT. Worth getting some standard or lowered springs, even if it's just for the MOT!

Check your facts chap. www.mot-testing.service.gov.uk/documents/manuals/m4s02000404.htmIt's a fail if it is incorrectly seated. It's a fail if its snapped. Check the information:
