Bump and a price drop. I need to get this gone, someone must want a big practical comfy barge. It's a perfect work horse or road-trip wagon.
I'm now at uni in Oxford, so if anyone wants to view it I'll need a bit of notice to get my self back down to Somerset, although if it's urgent then I'm sure my mum could show you around it.

If this were on standard suspension, I'd snap it up immediately, but it's a bit too low for me.
Lovely car though - good luck with the sale.
And good luck with the studies! Which college?

Fair enough, I'm hoping the suspension won't cause an issue for too many people, it's not actually that low in terms of ground clearance.
Thanks, I'm at Oxford Brookes.

This looks to be a bargain! If I had space I'd have it! Drifty fun for cheap!
Good luck with the sale.

Hi, I'm interested in this; any chance you could get it to Oxford? I'm in the Peak District, and am due in Oxford in the next week anyway, so could collect then if we can sort a deal out. Cheers

Hi, I'm not sure about getting it to Oxford, as without insurance it's not really able to be driven up here, and me being young, and the car old, day insurance has proved to be near enough impossible in the past (I've actually tried for this specific car, and just got lot's of 'no, sorry, we can't quote you' from everywhere).
If there is a way, then I'm willing to do it, I'll have to try and think of some way around it.

Compass, if you want me to get it to Oxford this week then it won't be an issue now. My Scirocco's just destroyed it's engine, so I'll be driving the Volvo until I can sort a replacement. I expect I'll be driving it up to Oxford on Monday morning, so if you wanted to take a look at it anytime from then on is fine. I need the money to buy a replacement for the 'rocco, so I'm happy to do whatever right now.

Still got this, and I could really do with getting it gone. Come on guys, its an interesting, fun, quirky car at throw away cheep run-around money. Someone must want it.
I'm back from uni tonight and I just went and fired it up, started first turn of the key, no smoke at all despite having been stood for a bit, and it sounds lovely and smooth.
The V5 Stiiilll hasn't come back, so I'll be chasing that up asap, but the bonus of that for any buyer is that I haven't been able to cash the tax in without it, so it's still taxed for a few months if you get it before the V5's sorted. (There's no issue with ownership, I've got a receipt from buying it, and I know the last 2 owners, just the DVLA being their usual efficient selves.)

Would love this, but have to move the Legnum on first. Unless someone wants to buy this for me and swap me for my car!?

I would love this too, but have been sat on my Merc for nearly a year now with no bites. Gutted doesnt come close to describing my feelings on the cars i have missed waiting on the merc to sell... Ergo, free bump for a lovely big barge!!

Couple of questions
Where abouts is the car at the moment? What is insurance like? How is the mpg? Looking for a luxo daily driver as my punto won't cut it, I'm guessing swaps isn't an option?

Thanks for the interest guys, I was reminded of how cool it is when I dug it out the other day, I'll be sad to see it gone, but needs must, and right now, finishing uni, then getting my Mini on the road is the priority. Couple of questions Where abouts is the car at the moment? What is insurance like? How is the mpg? Looking for a luxo daily driver as my punto won't cut it, I'm guessing swaps isn't an option? - The cars in Chard, Somerset, Postcode TA20.
- Obviously insurance will vary from person to person, but it was what I'd describe and 'medium' more than my passat, less than my Scirocco/MX-5.
- I averaged 27mpg, not amazing, but considering it's a 2.3 petrol with the aerodynamics of a brick with wing mirrors, I didn't think it was terrible.
- I can't do swaps I'm afraid, I need the space and the money, I've already got more cars than I need, lol
Definitely a more interesting, and more practical daily than a punto! (depending on the punto of coarse, everything has potential.)

I passed my driving test in one of these, and would love another one.
Redblock 2.3 lasts FOR EVER, I am not exaggerating. Plenty of usable power. Big enough to sleep in, will cruise at 90mph all day long, and RWD. What's not to like?
I'm pretty sure this beastie has been slammed - looks all the better for it too. There's a solid tradition of dropping turbo lumps or even a T5 into these too if you are that way inclined.
I'm in the Highlands of Scotland, and need to sell my Delica otherwise I'd bite your hands off - good luck with the sale.
