Top Marks to Brian for arranging such a brilliant 'little' get together. Having not been before, I honestly though it was just some of the A-52 lot plus a few others, and was amazed at the number of cars that were there. Bottom of the class goes to those who decided that this... Hooning about on the sand is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. I know having a large expanse of slippery damp sand is tempting, but please remember that its a PUBLIC CAR PARK full of people, children and animals and as such is subject to the vagiaries of the Road Traffic Act 1991. If you're caught dicking about on the beach by the Police, you'll be as bang to rights as you would be if you'd been caught doing the same in your local maccy's car park. Until the last Beach Party it wasn't an issue, but last time we were 'blessed' by the presence of one or two wan*ers who thought the rules didn't apply to them. I'll tell you now that not only DO the riules apply, but this time there are a few of us who will happily take the keys out of the ignition of your car and fling them up into the sand dunes. You'll then have the time it takes for the tide to come in to find them and avoid your car getting an extra jetwash courtesy of the Bristol Channel. DON'T F**K IT UP FOR THE REST OF US. ...didn't apply to them, including the black Mk1 Capri, a couple of dubs and some cockends in Minis deciding that 'reverse donuts' were the order of the day in a public car park with families and small kids around. You know who you are, and were suitably 'golf-clapped' as you left...

^^^ Well mentioned Dan Was a great day though - cool people, cool cars, pretty damn good weather aswell considering ;D Seems to be becoming a bigger event everytime - Lets hope it can continue. As usual though, the time always seems to pass too quickly!! Didn't take many photos this time round but I noticed plenty of other people were although Day 289 of my 365 photo project was easily taken care of ;D 289/365 - RR-SW Beach Party Five by Lee/Ratters, on Flickr

I personally cant see the apeal with driving like that on the beach!
I mean c'mon, all that damn salty sand can be bad enough for an older car, never mind when it's being forced around wheel arches, box sections of body work, floor pans and other areas with enought force to strip away underseal, paint and protection! Especially on 1970's Ford and BL tin!
Each to their own i guess!
