I advertised this for a friend back in April and thought we found a buyer for the whole car. Needless to say, 4 months later the car is still here! Basically it is probably only good for spare parts. The heads were taken off to remove some broken exhaust manifold studs but that was about 5 years ago! Engine may clean up & go again but the 3Lt Essex seems to be out of fashion at the minute. It does have a 4 speed manual O/D box, Stainless exhaust that should clean up, nice Corbeau black vinyl buckets & matching rears, Triumph 14" steel wheels with centre caps, Salisbury rear axle etc. Oh, and it`s also Tax free so ideal for a rod base etc. Car is at my work in Reading but I can bring smaller pieces home to Swindon. Would prefer collection on all parts so you know exactly what your buying. I don`t know a lot about Scimitars so really wouldn`t know if the parts are better than what you already have! Reply here or PM for with any enquiries.

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you

O.K given up trying to attach pics so have started a seperate thread in Cars section. Strangely I can add pics there no problem! In two minds what to do now as had interest in parts but also people wanting complete so it`s going to be first come first served. Parts & prices listed below but be prepared to come and remove asap because I think it will go as a rolling shell.
Engine, Flywheel, Clutch, Alternator, Starter, Manifolds etc £50 Gearbox & Prop £40 Exhaust downpipes & silencers £40 Seats are Cobra (apologies as I did state Corbeau originally) £100 Momo Steering wheel & Boss £20 x5 Steel Wheels (+4 Trims) £40 Rear Axle £75 Chassis & V5 £50

PM me with contact details please. You can but i will need to sell some bits off it first unless you want to come strip it? Chassis going to be the last bit left so no hurry, i will earmark for you along with other bits.

O.K, Lots of skinned knuckles & sh!t in my eyes today but managed to get loads of parts stripped. Not sure if they all were but this has laminated windscreen. Theres a towbar aswell. Also a pair of stainless fuel tank straps that don`t look that old. Rear coil over springs could be a recent replacement as the blue paint hasn`t peeled. Has a boot load cover in black vinyl that looks in good condition.

Hi,
I would possibly be interested in the stainless tank straps, boot cover and stainless sill plates if they're still up for grabs mate? What would you be looking for them?

Unfortunately Prop is already spoken for & i`m not sure how much of the handbrake Dez needs. If he spots this perhaps you could let us know if you need the cable?
