I was chuffed to bits with the missus yesterday when she returned home from a shopping trip with a present for me. Eric Banas Love the Beast on dvd from poundland of all places!  Its a true story of a love affair between film star Eric Bana and his 1974 Ford Falcon XB that he has owned since he was 15 years old, and although I have seen it twice before I still well up at the end when he takes his dad out for a spin in his right hooker Ford Thunderbird that has been standing in his garage for ten years. A cracking film and well worth an hour and a half of any car fans time and especially at the price.  It did lead me to think though did the car ever get the rebuild it deserved?   |
