Just noticed the tyre fitter has (yet again) damaged my brand new wheels.
I have a set of audi 80 coilovers (used)
I'm losing sleep over wether to fit a b3 coupe front.
That is all.

Get set go. Set right down to begin with, but couldnt get the jack out....usual story.. Front done first as I wasnt looking forward to the top nuts and track rods, it went ok no drama. The rear gave a real fight and the old shocks had to be cut as I needed parts from them. Got there in the end, its a tad high here but it settled after a drive much lower so no adjustment needed. Difficult to notice here, but the polished roof rails look the nuts with the wheels. They are a rare option, i was lucky to get them. Still needs tracking and I noticed some other things like a cv boot so need a day at work on it realy. Next some pretty bits and tad more power.

How on earth did you get the paint to come up so well??? When you say "machined" what, prey tell, does that involve? And when you say motor oil on the trim, how does that work. wont it streak down the paint? Think I’ll be doing this to the miss's 54 plate Clio. its looking rather tired for its age.
p.s That's a nice car you've got there. Love the subtle upgrades!! Good work that man!

Er, no don't realy want to sell it, itseems the perfect daily tbh.
Paint, its known as mopping, you need some compound too such as G3/G6ect then normal polish. The plastics- if they are badly faded likemine were i use old engine oil on a sponge to dye them black then wash off and normal trim care after like autoglm/back to black ect.
Thanks for the nice words guys.

Its a lot quicker now thanks to some injectors and boost, going for a tuning box next. Back was a Too bit plain, so I got a snide audi sport badge. And the crappy steering wheel went in favour of my favourite audi sports wheel, such a nice feel to it. I also fitted the matching leather gearknob. Its minty! And a set of coupe/quattro VDO gauges with the full centre consol as it re locates the cig lighter and ash tray. Plus having a nice leather gear boot. Just need the sports seats now. Forgot to take a pic of the new rollbar, came off a b3 quattro and was only a tad fatter than the original, but it sits much better round corners now. Almost ready for a big euro tour.

Anyone know of an interior for sale for an avant?
I can only find an RS2 interior which is £1100, thats more than this whole project so no go.
