wow this is so cool, my lil beasty is famous , genuinely thank you for all the nice comments, i put alot of hard work into it and its comments like this that make it worth it.
the op of this thread actually posted the pics in the wrong order. from saloon to van form it took me just 48hours, after that it took another month of about 8 hours a day to get it to its finished state as in the 2-3rd pics from the bottom, that was at billing show where i had to stay up two days working solid on it to get it finished for the show. the last pic was at trax, theres actually a c20xe in the back in that pic lol.
after that it was then used for what it was built for, a proper work horse, ive towed all manor of cars all over the place with it, the load space in the back is unreal, the amount it could carry with its astra load/towing springs lobbed in was impressive to say the least.
it has currently passed two MOT's as an estate first one it flew through secong one i made the mistake of going to a nationwide to get it mot'd they ripped it to pieces and put stupid things like it having an estate conversion as an advisory :s. i booked it straight in to my usual place and it went straight through again.
as I'm sure you can imagine the roof was a killer but I'm pleased to how i got it, trying to get a pic of this was hard but these hopefully show its pretty good.
a couple more pics of it doing its job
i had always had the idea to try it but wanted to try and visualise it first so had this photoshop done
to which it is pretty close, one night it snowed as well so i made an estate backend on the saloon lol
I'm quite disappointed that no one every notices this.
i sat and had stitched those seat covers together, took me about three nights to do lol
as for the painting thing as well that was purely down to cost, i only spent about £40 in total .
i'll make a new post of all my previous projects as well as theres been enough.
