Wasn't expecting that when I clicked on this thread. I must say most of the content went well over my head but it looks extremely well engineered.
What is that red car that you worked on in the past?
Will be checking back for further progress!!

That red one's safari racer I worked on for a friend of mine, same as our buggy in my other other thread, but about 10x the budget! BMW M5 V10 in a T45 spaceframe, 4wd, paddle shift, etc, etc. Pretty nippy but he's not got the teething issues sorted yet (cooling mainly!)
Honey monster - they're pretty simple in terms of disassembling and sorting out oil viscosity + shims (although I've got a nice little bit of software/spreadsheet that helps comparisons there too), when you're getting into the internal friction, cavitation, flutter, etc, it gets a bit more complex, and when you start considering the top mounts, etc, too you start need some complex modelling software tbh - but you don't really need that just to be able to strip, adjust and rebuild dampers if you don't want to. Peter Verdone's damping site on his wiki is a good place to start for an idea, the Fox and King websites have instructions on the strip down and adjustment of the dampers, although without much explanation of what you're actually doing.

Gem of a thread. Did you make the front wish bones?
Love the fabrication - fab envy!!
Saw the fox shocks then though interesting choice for a road going vehicle then saw your previous work seemed to explain the choice. The rebuild pics were great. Are you setting up a similar business again?

Yeah, I made the wishbones, they're T45 tube + EN14 fittings. The Foxes are quite nice on a road car actually, everything is made to last - just had to machine the casings and rods down to get them short enough!
Setting up doing more fast road/track stuff, perhaps the odd spaceframed beastie.

Awesome keep us posted about the business, love to have the same front wishbone set up (plus a few other bits I'vebeen thinking of ) for my race car as no one makes anything along the lines of what I want for it (with good reason too!)
