Here is a short build blog about the Green Lada.
The Ladas transformation started about three years ago. The object was an old Lada 2105 1200S from 1988 saved from eternity behind a shed. The intention was to build something fun that you don’t see everyday and something that would stand out.
Where it started.
The body was rust fixed, got some filler and was sanded down.
The Green Lada in the paint shop back in winter 2009.
On the summer most was original except some sound system, rims grill and eyelids
Winter 2010:
The engine was lifted out and the engine bay is cleaned out
The bumper holes were welded shut.
Engine got a quick fix and some fresh paint. A new Sachs clutch was also fitted to cope with the brutal force of the engine
Engine bay painted also in awesome green.
Engine put back in
Radiator
Exhaust
Some covers I made, turned out nicely
The interior was ripped out and a better sound system was built.

Here are some pics of the finished product. The Green Lada sitting nicely outside in the dark.
