Hi guys!
I am sorry for not posting anything here for a long time. Much have happened since the last update, the car now sits nicely on bags. Does anyone here want to read more about this? Many pictures have disappeared from this thread, should I put them back and then continue with this thread? I am asking to see if there are interested people on this forum, which I really love. Time is a bit limited but if you guys want to read more about this Lada I will certainly continue here This is how the car looks at the moment

Yes please! More more more! Looks excellent And more info about the air susp conversion! Thanks for the comments I will continue with the thread! I will make a few smaller updates from now on, from my last reply, until we are in present time. In my last update i showed some pictures of when I started building the mounts for the air springs, and I will continue with this later. But today I will show you guys what parts I received right before christmas, as a starter. This was the first one, new wheel hubs and polyurethane bushings for the front The other one was a really big package, and I was excited as hell The package contained everything else I need for the air conversion. - 2 Dual Needle gauges - Viair 444cc compressor - 4 manual valves - All the necessary connections - 25 meters of 6mm hose - SMC water trap - SMC check valve In the pictures you can also see two used fire extinguishers, these will be built as a tank! This was everything I have to offer this evening, I am tired as f*ck so I will continue tomorrow instead. See you!

Love it.
Usually the air'd out cars we see have a subtle, smooth, euro or VIP style finish and say brown or candy paint, this looks like a much tougher / track style, way more angry, but the attitude those bags give it...so cool!

Great wheels. After polishing they will look like a bomb ! ET does not look like -15 , it looks more like a +15 to me. Or maybe it just looks like it in the pics.

nice looking Lada! Could I ask you something about the polyurethane busheslease. Could you please make some measurements? of the outside diameter and how big the inside hole is?.
I ask you this because they look like they could fit in the upper arms of a Fiat 850. For the Fiat 850, they don't make them. But of course it depends on the outside diam. thnx

Update time! I will try to go through the bag installation in todays post. Rear (Firestone 7076 bags)Yep, so the rear was pretty straight forward. This off And holes for the upper and lower mounting bolt,(no pic of the rear) And there it is Front (Slamspecialties ss5)I have already showed you som pictures of the bracket work for the front bags. But his is how it looks when it is done. I made everything to fit the standard mounting holes, nothing is welded to the car. This is if I would want to restore it to regular springs in the future and it is also easier to get it legal in this way. unfortunately I have pretty bad pictures of the brackets at the moment, I will come back to this part when I strip it down for paint! Atleast I have a Instagram clip to show from when i made the brackets. Here you can see how they look! Follow me here for more updates http://instagr.am/p/xNMyQ9MG7D

Bookmarked. Excellent work going on there. Keep it up. Keep posting, I love watching your thread. Thanks for the comments guys Really nice to hear! This update is about the problems in the front. There are probably some Lada drivers here that is wondering about this!? This is what I did. Bought some Volvo 240 rear dampers (a little bit shorter than Lada's own rear shocks) And this was my first thought, experimenting with the position. And at last I hope that I have found a good position for both the shocks and the sway bar. I just made the mounts for the shocks of some scrap 4mm metal and for the sway bar mount on the controll-arm I used the "middle" mounts from a spare sway bar complete with a shiny new poly bushing. I'll let the pictures explain the rest: Next time when I am in the garage i will try the suspension out a little and if it works as I want I will weld everything up AAnd finally, some eye candy for you guys!See you later!
