That's the one. My searching ability lately has been made of fail. I used Google, the built-in forum search feature is terrible! Just type your search terms into Google and then 'Retro Rides'.

I saw hundreds of these little things in NZ as they were made out there as well as in Japan but all were normal hatchbacks or cabrolets.

YESSSSS! Finally some recognition!
I've got a Honda Jazz/City.
They were called Jazz in Europe as Austin Rover owned the City name for the Metro.
Mines not a turbo unfortunately just a 1.2 CVCC Honda. Still 56hp so I've got 10 or so horsepower on a metro!
I've only ever seen 1 turbo 2 bulldog in the Uk. It was about 3feet high after the owner rolled it a couple of times!
I got offered a turbo one about a year ago in Sheffield. £2500 and it was in a terrible state.
Turbo 1's are not as desirable as the bulldog as the bulldog had the flared arches and came in championship white just like the DC2 integral and Ek9 civic type r.
The turbo engine was the first production engine mugen ever built for Honda.
As for the bike, they're pretty rare and when ones come up for sale they do fetch rediculous prices. Loads of those in Japan for sale but not many in Europe or the uk.
Also forgot to mention the reason why there's so many in NZ. NZ never had the Austin Mini or Metro so Honda saw that there was a market for small nimble little cars and took a chance to build a rival to the mini.

I used to live down the road from this one... Never saw it go above 20mph, and it was driven by a tiny lady who I'd like to imagine has had it from new

When I look on howmanyleft.com it said there were 11 on the road. I only knew of 1 more which belonged to Gene on here and 1stgencivic.com which had a 1.4 honda civic sport engine!
There was a video not so long ago of a jazz in poland with a D16b JDM Civic vtec motor. Does 1/4 miles in like 10 seconds!
