Yeah I found out about this a couple of weeks back, thought about starting a thread but didn't fancy the inevitable negativity so stuck it in the NRNR hoping the right people would see it.

Not my cup of tea but I secretly like the fact that it exists, just because so many people get upset by it ;D

I think it's awesome. I also find it nice to see what patethic low lifes most of the car people, and even stance people all over the internet actually is. What do thousands of people think they'll achieve by posting how much they hate it? A suicide? Is the "for the hell of it" mentality something totally alien to these people? Extreme way of putting it but I agree with you, just glad RR still has a lot of open minded members.

And once again nobody is allowed an opinion without the victim police rolling their eyes and running to mammy. I'd like to say I can appreciate the work that goes into it but clearly its bodged and scene and done for a reaction not because the builder has a passion for what he /she does this forum is loosing the plot... Instead of standing out its blending in with PC bollox.............. Zeb I totally agree apart from the last bit because no I don't like it. Shoot me. This forum is losing the plot? This is just the sort of extreme stuff this forum was built on! While pretty much every other car forum mocked things like bosozoku this forum embraced that kind thing, researched it, even brought some of that culture to the UK (and other countries). I've already called you out once for ignoring what are clear rules and you decided to PM a load of agro like the above. There's countless car forums to join where you can put down peoples efforts and wallow in your snide self importance, why insist on trying to change this one to suit you?

If it gets to the stage people are 'calling out' and sending 'agro' PMs then it's missing the point in a different way.
The rules aren't there to be strictly enforced and exclude people, the rules are there to keep RR (as much as possible) the place it was intended to be. An open-minded, intelligent, positive bunch of people who like old cars.
You don't have to like everything and you're not breaking the rules if you have an opinion. You just shouldn't bother posting if all you have is predictable negativity. You shouldn't see every car posted as something you need to do the school run in, you shouldn't assume why it was built, whether it's finished or how much/little it costs. You should look at it as a picture that someone has found on the internet - a car you personally don't have to drive, be seen in, pay for or MOT test.
We know that low cars don't go over bumps, that cars with negative camber wear tyres quicker and that most of us can't afford cars that are built by Troy Trepanier. That doesn't stop us looking at them and making our own informed choices about what we own and drive ourselves based on our own tastes, criteria and limitations.

I still remember when most of retro rides though this was awesome Wonder what kind of response it would get posted on here today. Extreme way of putting it but I agree with you, just glad RR still has a lot of open minded members. thanks, it was a very calm way of putting it after reading thousands of facebook comments about the car ;D

Can we now get on with the srs bzns of cool cars an' that...?

(via PM) Sometimes Rmad you can be a Dick. Perhaps. But at least I'm respectful...and not banned. Once again, if anyone can't see the way this place works as a good thing they are welcome to leave. Ideally without resorting to personal comments via PM.

I don't understand how its still classified as safe to go on roads? This is never going to end is it? You don't have to understand. It's a picture on the internet from the other side of the world. I would expect that: a. The owner doesn't care...or chooses where he goes carefully. b. The specific laws to ban it probably don't exist because no-one could have predicted it. I don't think the UK has laws about excessive camber or undersize tyres...Japan is probably no different. There was no speed limit on motorways until someone drove a Cobra along the M1 very, very fast.

Normally I don't comment on cars like this as I don't get/like excessive camber - it just makes a car look broken to me This one is different, I quite like it it doesn't look broken, it does however look silly which I like ;D - a combination a matching stance/camber on each wheel and taking the look to such an extreme that it looks like a cartoon to me not broken ;D

Hm, if I was going to open a thread for these Santanas, I wonder would there be anybody up here saying he likes one of them or both? ;D
