I'm based in ng17 and offer a professional electrostatic flocking service using correct conductive adhesives, nylon flock (in 1mm, 0.5mm), loads of colours in stock and to order as well as correct prep and application (no diy kits!). Normally I need your parts to flock but if I have an amount of interest in a certain model (e.g. e30 dashes) then I will get one in that I can then flock and offer on and exchange basis if you want to drive up to me for example. Pretty much anything can be flocked - dashes, trims, engine covers, suspension parts, wheels, body panels, anything with a firm surface. I can also do patterns and logos - so camo, stripes etc. Repair and custom work is also not a problem. Anyway any questions please ask, here's a few samples:

hi - would you be able to post here, email (prey@flockingfantastic.co.uk) or message me a pic of the dash? also what is the dash made of underneath?
as whether the vinyl needs to come off really depends on how it is attached etc. for example it may be that the vinyl needs to be repaired and prepped before flocking or that stripping it off is better/easier depending what is underneath and the condition.

Hi mate!
Only from Junction 29A
What sort of prices would you ask for 2 front doorcards? Only reason I am asking is because mine have recently been modified to house a set of component speakers
Thanks,
Ryan

Bookmarking this thread as I have a dash I want done for the rally Monza project
Would it help if I sent a small section of the dash to you to evaluate if the vinyl needs to be stripped off or if the surface can be prepped to take the flock?
Might have another one to do if my friend Paul wants the dash inhis Thundersaloon Monza done

if you have a section of it handy then sending it would be good to get a definite idea, i can say fairly confidently however most finishes can be prepped by using various primers/epoxy/etch/solvents/keying etc in one way or another. the main thing about vinyl covered (especially older) dashes is making sure the surface hasn't degraded at all or the vinyl hasn't separated and needs to be repaired.
