Well Hello! This week I bought another Peugeot Partner, after writing off the last one I had..... Old build thread here..... retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=93702&page=1Crash photos here..... retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=techni&action=display&thread=127628&page=1So I am starting a new thread with my new build project...... Bought for the princely sum of £800 with 8months MOT and 6 months Tax. She is going to be used daily for the commute and also loaded up for climbing and kayaking and various camping trips to go along with my outdoor activity instructors job.....Its a great little van and exactly the right size for me so why buy anything else!!! Loads of new bits fitted to it and lots of potential I hope you agree, I love these little vans and now have a heap of spares from the crashed one.... As I bought it..... First thing I did was to fit my bed, drivers guard, stereo & speakers and a few other little thing into the back of her.... Then the old sticker-bombed rear door and the alloys have to be transferred over too... Now she sits with more potential Its got a extra battery terminal in the rear so hoping to hook up a leisure battery set-up for camping with a dual charge, but got to look into this a bit more.... Oh, and because I love a bit of photoshop, some ideas on where to go with it.....a tad lower and black bonnet and wheels......should be a nice start.....maybe some pin striping on the new bonnet..... Hope you like.....!

I think a 'moon eyes' theme would work very well on it.
Good luck with it!

Lots of potential there! Just so you know Peugeot 306 coilovers are cheap and fit these. I've just lowered mine with them!

Good start, i think the photoshop would look better with silver wheels instead of black, but thats just my opinion
Been giving thought into one of these myself (or similar) recently as this year for me is about getting fit so a van would be much better for bikes instead of the car.
Be good to see where this one goes (not a hedge i hope)

What speakers do you have in the box behind your drivers seat? would suit my sub quite nicely ;D
Glad too see you've got sorted with a new van though!

Glad to see you have got another van. Just got myself an old Partner as well! Need it lowered ASAP! I take it its the MK1 306 springs that are fitted these?

Thanks for your comments so far, there are plans to get 306 springs or coilies in the not so distant future. Wasn't sure what moon eyes were, until that Photoshop, well its an interesting idea......love the wheels! That link to the spilt charger is exactly what i was looking for thanks! Been fettling around the last few days and neatened up the interior.....along with some other little bits and bobs. Re-boxed my speakers and covered too. Total cost £30, some offcut carpet and some spray contact adhesive! Still a few odd areas to tidy up with some of the scraps but overall a much needed improvement!

Just a small update for the van. Apart from a small issue with the fuel cut off valve, I have managed to finish off the interior a bit more. Side panels now filled and just about enough to put on the floor too. I'm pleased with it and even my improvised folding table got a matching cover. Next job is lowering and tidying up some paintwork, also a host of smaller jobs, sticking locks and the like! One more shot of how its looking now with the wheels and door in place!

You are planning simular things to mine. I have some Matt black vinyl for the bonnet and am going to spray the wheels black. Mine however is a red Combo and it is my work van so no sticker bombing here. lol!

A tin of Matt Black Rustoleum arrived this week.......i wont go too mad for now, but think the plastics, bonnet and rear dark green door could all do with a tidy up (and maybe the sills!)

big fan of these vans, we've had them for years at work and up until they hit 120k mark, they were no bother at all.
