I personally think that as a car it is w*nk, but as a retro marker post, a snapshot in time etc, it is fugging ace. You'll never see that level of sillyness in modding again. EvAr. I agree. Freakin' 'orrible! But, essential bit of modding history. I couldn't own it like that. I think I'd want to park it round Vicsmiths gaff so the local scrotes would nick bits off it... save me a job stripping it. Then turn it into something cooler ;D

Good point the scrotes would probably nick the worst bits! With a bit of luck they`d think the beer barrel was real, nick it and drink its contents. Once they`d taken all the easy to nab bits you`d be left with the basis for a really good replica of the Mad Max Falcon but in mad max 2 when it was beat up with a smashed nosecone and the back 3/4 hollowed out for the massive fuel tanks.

Well look at that they`ve taken a Vauxhall Corsa, bought some irregularly shaped pieces of plastic, and made something really, really super.

If I win the euro millions lottery then I'll buy it. so will i and send an e mail to the guy offering to buy the axle sell it to him and scrap the rest , this car/thing must of been built to ridicule the custom car scene as Ive been in the custom car scene since1988 and Ive never seen any thing so sh1te, maybe Ive been lucky to have missed that era....

Used to see plenty of this ilk at Ally Pally, Donny and Birmingham shows back in the days. Fantastic. Not worth anywhere near what he's asking.
Used to see the full chrome Jag IRS behind 1600 cross flows let alone a V6.
This is our heritage guys. Look and learn.

If its heritage you look up to then maybe you should look further back to the days of the Barris bros and Edd Roth 'cos if it wasn't for there talents customizing and rodding would have died in the 60s...........Does anyone actually know who Von Dutch really is?...Answers on a stamp and send it to the usual address ;D

Does anyone actually know who Von Dutch really is?...Answers on a stamp and send it to the usual address ;D Kenneth Howard (September 7, 1929–September 19, 1992), also known as Dutch, Von Dutch or J.L. Bachs (Joe Lunch Box), was a motorcycle mechanic, eccentric, artist, pinstriper, metal fabricator, knifemaker, and gunsmith. His father, Wally Howard, was a well-respected Los Angeles sign painter and by the age of ten, the young Kenny Howard was able to paint and letter at a professional level. While attending Compton High School, Von Dutch excelled in track and field and was referred to as "the fastest man in LA." Von Dutch had an appreciation for music and was also an accomplished flutist. Von Dutch was a major influence in the customizing of vehicles in the 1950s to today. Some of his famous works include the flying eyeball and the custom Kenford truck, along with numerous custom motorcycles and many award-winning custom cars. Among many custom car and motorcycle enthusiasts, he is thought of as one of the fathers of Kustom Kulture. Von Dutch's heirs started marketing his designs on clothing and accessories and now energy drinks after his death.

If its heritage you look up to then maybe you should look further back to the days of the Barris bros and Edd Roth Neither of whom worked in the UK. They are America's custom/rod heritage not ours. Rodding never took off here until the very late 60s and early 70s. There were some interesting formative cars by the likes of Jeff Jago and Paul Raymond (yes, the guy behind Raymond's Review Bar and various smut mags like Club and Men Only). You can't ignore the UK's most prolific customising period just because you don't like buttoned draylon. Many of the long time big names in the UK started with Capris, Escorts, Pops, Consuls, etc. back then with Jag IRS and sidewinders. Anyone remember "Humdinger"? Infamous for 15 minutes (but didn't appear on Panorama LOL) On a separate note did you see how much Ken Howards' stuff was selling for at auction when someone liquidated their collection recently. A screwdriver he had used went for $800, a hammer went for $4500 and his paint box sold for $310,500. Fugg me. Big bucks in nostalgia. I don't see how anyone can vaunt Ed Roth and diss that Capri. That Capri is directly in the style of what Ed Roth was turning out by the late 60s / 70s.
