Progress on this is going beautifully. Starting to get stuck for spare parts though, if anyone knows of any breakers that would be super helpful!? If had a lot of bodywork done, got a door and wing from Poland, after months of searching. Had a proper exhaust built up as well, with twin outlet, as close as possible to the original. Rad's been re-cored, and a long list of other bits been done. Currently also looking into fitting a T25/28 turbocharger to the car. I work at a Saab specialists, and I've had a lot of the parts needed rested in situ, and it seems like it maye be quite straightforward...(famous last words) just need to get a mani now, as the one I was hoping to use from a Saab 9000 Aero doesnt quite line. don't worry though, Whatever I do, i'll do it properly, and keep the bay nice and tidy ;D One more thing... Does anyone have a spoiler for one of these... Cheers, Glen.

hi just joined and was reading your post owned one of these late nineties, although in hatch(1989 g23 trr) guise fantastic cars. i do remember that the hatch had an lsd on the box and the coupe strangley did not , i also remember the car going through cv boots and the only place you could get them was nissan as they were quite long. on the exhaust note i did upgrade mine to a janspeed item but when it came it was too long after investigation it was deemed it was for a coupe .it may be worth giving janspeed a call as they may have some lying around. also fitted uprated kyb shocks and jamex springs all uk stock at the time so there could be some other old stock waiting to be discovered.enjoy your project as they are fantastic to drive used to shock the mk 2 16v golf boys.

Haha, my dad always tells me that these used to be nicknamed "Golf Killers" haha. Yeah youre right about the LSD, I've actually fitted a gearbox from a n13 hatch though, so this no also has LSD. I had to change the drive shafts when I put the replacement box in, and don't recall having much trouble with boots? Great shout on the shocks though, I'll definitely look into that. I also need to look into uprating the brakes to full discs, the drums just aren't cutting it! haha. Was the Hatch also drum brakes rear?
Glen.

hatch had discs on the rear. brakes were fantastic too as i remember.also fitted large stainless steel penny washers drilled out to size for the drop links at the front as the steel ones seemed to rot in no time.

What a great read this has been. Shame to read the BS at the start, but I'm pleased to see the progress you're making with it now. I'm also a lover of old-ish Nissans, having had two B11's, a B12 ZX Coupe like the one in this thread, an N13, two T12 Stanza's, a Bluey, two K11 Micras and a K10. I've also had three Primeras. This was my B12 Coupe when I had it at RR Gathering 2011 And a pic of when I owned 3 Sunny's at the same time.... My Coupe was a fantastic car. Went like stink, and sounded great with a simple cone filter and stainless exhaust. You wouldn't believe how much I regret swapping it for a tatty 3rd Gen Prelude. Something I did on a whim, and I punch myself in the thigh every day as a punishment. I look forward to following this thread and seeing your progress.

Hi Guys, Glad to see the occasional person still stumbling across this! I still have the car, although i haven't had the chance to drive it in nearly a year. I got my hands on a breaker, that I've stripped for spare parts, (Including a spoiler which i'll soon have fitted! ) along with a few small window trims and bits and pieces that were missing. Also need to fit new calipers before the next MOT. managed to get hold of some recon ones so they're ready to go on as well. Dads still got the 2 Bluebirds, (Red petrol & Black diesel) both still driving well - recently drove the Diesel one over to Italy and back without issue. Geordie - The white one looks so good. Nice to see the yellow fogs as well! something I've been struggling to find a decent pair of haha Cheers, Glen.

The yellow fogs were missing when I bought the ZX, but I sourced some from a lad I got to know from the old Sunny Owners Club which I used to run. I love yellow fogs.
