Bit the bullet in may and bought this from Washington . After a long jouney we picked it up from Chatham yesterday . 1950 Coupe , 307ci chevy , th350 box. T-bird seats , garnish moulding all chromed and louvred. Rodded in the 60's and there is a lot of history . These are the pictures from the for sale add .I will take some fresh ones when I wash the transport dirt off.

I'm only a bit jealous!! That looks absolutely gorgeous. Got much in the way of plans for it?? First job is sort the front end , its been lowered the proper 60's way with a gas axe . Done some digging and found what spring they use in the states and they match up spec wise with transit springs . Also got a drop spindle kit for it to bring it back down .Rear end going down a bit , set of spider caps as it had a set originally in the 60's . Already had Neil round to tidy up the door panels as the carpet on the bottom is well worn.

Lovely single-spinner! The very early '50s are a really under-rated era of American cars in my opinion. My uncle has a '50 Chevy Business Coupe project and it's a very cool car.

That's a beaut! It's about time we had some more 50's yank tin on here. What your plans? Oh, and you do know we will be requiring some more pics.

Remember the days when sex was safe and motorsport was dangerous. Vintage bling always attracts pussy.

Front end in bits at the minute , getting rid of the slightly dodgy front springs and sorting a very wobbly idler arm . While having a good look through the car I found a pair of two inch lowering blocks , that will quickly be fitted to the rear .

Stunning. When fifties cars look that cool, it makes anything newer look rather inadequate....

Very cool! Love the interior! Interior was the deciding factor on buying this one .Door panels need rejuvinating and headliner is missing but good other than that , also just found that the drivers seat is electric .

Do you know the history of the interior? If I'm not mistaken, it looks like an early '60s Falcon Sprint centre console. I don't think the buckets are from a Falcon Sprint though. Maybe from a bigger car than the Falcon?
