Well yesterday I drove 450 miles and spent all my Christmas present money on that broken santana. I think I have hoarded enough part to sort out my own santana and some bits for my passat too. Sadly I missed out on the bumpers, headlights and grill but I got pretty much everything else I can't wait to start swapping stuff round.
Sadly, at the beginning of October my father and my grandmother both passed away. They lived together in Oxford and i think of them both all the time. The whole family has been clearing out the house and my uncle had been storing this old car in the garage for about 40 years!
Is it? Thanks. I'll look in to that. I have no idea where to start with this car. It will be a steep learning curve. I recon it will need new wings. I don't even know what size the engine is. I can't do much research at the moment as I don't have the internet at this house and I have limited minutes on my phone. Any hints or tips with any of my 4 cars is greatly appreciated!
Love the Morris! All it needs in my eyes is gentle recommissioning, cleaning and polishing, service the engine and get it running, sort out brakes, lights etc, a good greasing throughout, a bit of leather cream on those seats, new tyres...the bare minimum really! I'd then trundle around and enjoy it for what it is. It doesn't need a V8

Bad news I'm afraid. Someone bashed into the santana on Friday. Big dent in the wing. The body shop have quoted 420 odd quid to repair it. I'm now hunting for a b2 passat/santana offside wing if anyone knows of one?
