In homage to the great no rhyme, no reason thread and looking back at the original Six degrees thread I offer you this. Hopefully a little less taxing on time than the original.
One post per thread taking off from where the last poster left off.
A bit like Stuart Maconie's long standing quiz linking artists and songs.
The automotive twist is the thing, though if the subject got round to rainbow painted cars and you posted John Lennon's roller, you'd be well within your rights. Otherwise, here's a chance for automotive eggheads to show their knowledge and the rest of us to learn a thing or two. Mostly useless but all the same, interesting to anyone with a drop of oil in their veins. For the rest of us or if you're feeling just plain lazy, it could just be another example of the same marque.
Anything a bit less obvious or obscure might warrant a one liner for us less endowed with knowledge on the engineering patents of Issigonis for instance (did he register any?).
So where to start....where else?
I offer you this...

...and the next image can't just be your subsequent motor to the one on the thread, unless of course it has that automotive world tie in. The more readers cars depicted, the better of course.
