They did stick to the location. I've just had telephone conversations with MM and Brat-Man, about 200 cars showed up. Usual entrance opposite Unity Farm (with the cafe at the beach entrance), the one we always use.
That was the final Beach Party, by the way. Thanks to the goons who screwed it up this afternoon by driving like twunts, your registration numbers were noted, photographs taken and your details are being forwarded to Burnham Town Council/Somerset Constabulary.
My apologies to everyone else who came along to ANY of the Beach Party series and behaved themselves.
Was fun while it lasted.

The meet was at Berrow Beach. It does say earlier in the thread (written by Anglia 68) that Berrow Beach is located on the road where the Sunflower Cafe is . I have just arrived a short while ago, and I have to say that it was a great meet. Thanks to those who gave us the opportunity of coming to such a place to enjoy the lifestyle that we do, and to have the company of like minded individuals present. Thanks also to the Midlands crew. They convoy went smoother than most of us expected . Cheers also to the other familiar (and new) faces I met on the day. It will be a crying shame if this is the final Beach Party. It was one of the better meets I have been to recently as well!

I had to miss this as my Transit was broken into overnight so I had to sort that out, luckily only a few tools were taken from the glovebox, that I keep there for emergencies, my freshly powder coated alloys were left behind even though the back doors had been opened. It's a shame that it was the last Beach Party.

It was a great day, we left early has i wanted to give plenty of time to get back home incase of issues with the new car. Such a shame, people just can't help them selfs! I for one am SUPER KEEN to keep speed down, and salty sand out of old metal bits.

What? This was my first Beach Party and now looks like its my last. Was there from half 10 till about 3 so seems as though i left just before it was ruined for good. Met some great people and saw some great cars. Always a few who spoil it for the many, such a shame.

Gutted. Had a cracking day, including the convoy down. Sadly the idiots probably won't care as they will just go & do it somewhere else now that they have got this one stopped, meanwhile we lose one of the best events of the year

It seems yet again the idiotic minority have given the classic car scene a bad name. I guess when a meet gets as popular as the beach meet, it's going to attract some bad behaviour. Ideally it would be marshalled, more like a show. Personally, I had a cracking day, the convoy down was great, loads of awesome cars on show, half decent weather, and lots of car related banter. Happy days

I made the same mistake and tried to get onto Brean's beach. I paid the lady and got stuck on the ramp Reversed back, scraping the whole underside and exhaust, and the lady gave me my money back. Eventually got to the proper location and had a great, if anti-socal, day ;D Shame about the idiots though.

Such a shame this was the last one. I was really looking forward to going but couldn't get parts to fix the car after yesterdays break down on a Saturday afternoon.

what exactly happened.?
i know its not exactly the point but there are other beaches locally uphill in weston etc.

I know its not exactly the point but there are other beaches locally uphill in weston etc. A couple of people went over the speed limit (15mph), a few wheelspins and various people were doing donuts in the sand, some getting close to members of the public and other cars Apart from that it was a brilliant day out
