Yeah that was 12 years ago though, things have gone a bit mad since then! Mind you it is "only" a fwd HF Turbo so not really regarded as anything special next to the Integrales. 14/02/2013- Here's a photo of the layout of the system from the bottom of the downpipe, through the centre box and out of the polished tip. With its simple route and 2.25" diameter it should flow quite nicely for the approx 200bhp output of the engine- Guy

21/03/2013- With the low seating position the standard wiper setup got in the driving view so I decided to convert to a single wiper and park it over on the passenger side. I didn't want it parking in the 11 o'clock position so i'd need more travel, enter trigonometry and some rose joints- Now I need to find a wiper arm with just the right crank on it. Guy

What a great project. I'm a fan on the stock wheels, but your choice of rims do work .

What a great project. I'm a fan on the stock wheels, but your choice of rims do work . Thanks mate, yeah the 8v integrale alloys do look good but you can only get 195's on them, you can get 205's on the wider 16v alloys but they cost a small fortune which would kinda go against the budget ethics of the project. At least 205 tyres fit the Audi wheels, they're cheap and look period. I also like the fact that they'll be a bit different in the lancia circles, looks like i'll need hubcentric spacer/adaptors and therefore i'll need to flare the arches (maybe the JDM style ones in the for sale section). 28/03/2013- For safety reasons I have to seal all gaps in the bulkhead and where the gear linkages go through still needed sorting. A piece of rubber sheet, a couple of bellows and some offcuts of silicone hose later.... Guy

29/03/2013- Fairly productive day today. Got the battery strap finished- Got all the loom supply wires armoured-up and also dressed in all the large positive wires to the distribution terminal and down to the starter motor- Negative wires are almost in now, I just have to modify the inlet manifold bracket to aid wire support and weld in the body earth point next to the battery. Blimey, some serious work going into that. Loving all the detail stuff, and just a bit jealous of the lathe ;-)

Thanks guys, getting worryingly close to the "big switch-on". Gotta finish the dump valve plumbing then prime all the fluids......then watch them all leak out when i start her up! Guy

He sure is! I was meant to get him to snap it before i put the front bumper/bonnet back on so you can see all the coolers hanging off the front, but i got carried away and threw it all back together! MOT friday morning for the win! Guy
