Hi all automotive freaks ;D.
My name is Willem, from the Netherlands . Still for a long time I have reading the great topics here, but hesitate to open a topic....because of my little technical know how, well pff and so much really TOP amateurs and mechanics here...and my slowly timescale.
But heeee.....the Fiat 127is becoming a little bit rare,so well....I keep you informed (and thanks to FiatAygo !)
My car history....few of my daily drivers : Opel Manta,Peugeot 205 GTI,AR 155,Golf 4 GTI. I had a few AR 33's,and then a Fiat MK1 "76 came on my way.As a very simple amateur with less automotive skills I stripped it,mostly to learn about the cartechnics ! I would try build it up as a MOT/Trackday car.
But after a few years a Fiat 127 Brazil owner ask on the Dutch Fiat127forum for someone who wanted to adopt his car, someone who wanted to keep the car on the road ! It hasn't run for a year,no MOT,but I decided to go for it.And with minor affords it was on the road.On the dutch fiat127forum I have a topic ! Also the Brazil(last of the Fiat 127 '84-'86 imported from Brazil ,so not from Italië,to the Netherlands) has to become a MOT-ed daily/track day car !
It's called the SAHARA Bazil because the former owner photoshoped the car, pretending he was on a holiday in the Sahara.....so the car is/was known on the Fiat127 forum as......Sahara Brazil !
Bringing her home Nov. 2011
Nice seat
Retro Fiat Sport steering wheel
An Italian car from Brazil
And yes.........rust,on the familiar places.....but because of the Brazilian make....the steel is much better then the thin Italian
Cheap buy....
Looks nice
Took off the rear bumper and tow hook
And.....work in progress
Bushes for the rearspringleaf
Looks better
I keep searching, because of my low budget for bargens....
Also very cheap buy's
I bought also the best tool for RRides.......
Soooo now you all are updated......... ;D
Hope to keep you informed...the things to do,welding, motoring maintenance etc.......
Ciao
