Cheers! Much appreciated! I can see how you do the colours.... but not the scrunched up effect, scratches and tea rings! Are they just like over lay layers or something? I don't know how he's doing it specifically but I would try Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation > click on colorize and drag the hue and saturation sliders around until you are happy. Then Image > Adjust > Levels and drag the right and left clipping arrows inwards.

looks like he's also scanned in a piece of artfully crumpled paper and put that on a layer over the car pic and reduced the layer transparency down. Coffee stains probably done the same way.
The scratches are drawn on using a dry brush effect (works best with a pressure sensitive pen. Splotches would be a larger diameter brush effect.

1: Open Pic 2. Ctrl-Shift-U 3. Drag a selection a few mm from the edge, invert it them fill white white 4. Add Noise 4.5 (forgot it). Ctrl-U, click colorise, change hue to around 40ish (to get the sepia colour required) and lighten image a touch (old photo's are normally very bleached 5. Paste a pic of crumpled paper over the top then select linear burn as its blend mode 6. Same for any tea rings or owt you want 7. Take a white background and add some black splodges and crack lines 8. Ctrl-I to invert it 9. Paste over original images 10. Select lighten as blend mode
Job Done
Thats pretty much it, you'll have to play with how much noise and your hue levels and the like

Could somebody kindly give this pic a slight degree of ageing please as I know not of what you speak. ;D I'm sure the instructions are spot on but to me it would be easier to build a time machine, take the pic into the past then come back to the modern day, open the shoe box and hey presto, one old photo.
