Well with the Corsa engine going bang on me I had to get a car fast but I looked on this as a good thing as Corsa was way to small for me and the wife so we have bought a 1995 Toyota Corolla Estate picking up next Wednesday I only know a few things about the car and that's it. It as electric windows don't work, central locking, drop links are gone, drivers door handle is broke, and is a Japaneses import bar that I know noting as I haven't seen it or drove it yet but my dad as picked it up and says it is a very clean car he will be looking over it over the nest few days before I pick it up and drive it home. Here are the only pictures I have

The steering wheel probably says "Nardi Torino". Nardi being a popular brand of aftermarket wheels and Torino the town they are made in..

The new wheels I have had for years and sorry to to say I have no clue what they are and were they came from. Ya I looked the steering wheel up and I'm in two minds about replacing it with something that suit the car but then I like the steering wheel.
Yesterday I orders some long wheel studs and spacers so the front wheels will fit only went 3mm on the spacer but I'm still on sure I should have gone 5mm

I'm no expert but I think the steering wheel could be worth a few quid. Cool wee car by the way. cheers steve.

I say the steering wheel could be worth a bit but I have no clue as well.
I had no dash lights and I like to be able to see my dash at night so I wired in a set of rgb leds to light up the aircon and heating controls well wroth it I may do the clock but not so sure if thats allowed so going to wait till after the NCT
Also I wired in an led strip light in the back so I can see at night when I'm loading the wheel chair in but may rewire it so I can control it from the front we shall see

Don't know if any one reading this but here is an update with the hot weather we are having the AC as been great as none of the windows work But the car as been getting harder and harder to start and drive so to day I bought a distributor cap rotor arm and a few minutes later there were in the old one are the original like many parts on the engine Old one and yes a bit was snapped of New on all shine in the dirty engine bay And the dirty engine bay may paint the rocker cover as I think there is a small leak on it I have now order an alarm and reversing sensors to make parking a bit easier bar that each week I but a part and fix it so I'm one step nearer to a test

A little up date to drag this up from the the bottom. It never made it for an NCT (MOT) I just couldn't get the parts to fix the electric windows or badly blown exhaust or any parts to fix it to be honest one bad thing about having a car that only came to Ireland as hatch back or saloon and never had extras like electric windows or the 1.5L engine but the good news is this after looking every were even the local garage joined in we found 99% the parts only thing I can not find is the electric windows master switch found loads for left hand drive car but none for right hand drive but that only means one window won't work and its the back so I'm not going to lose sleep over that. Here some picture I'm realy bad for taking pictures but there wasn't much done to the car as a lot of parts are on there way from japan. First one the electric nightmare had to rip out almost the hole lower dash just to find relays and fuses and check wiring someone had been here before and just chopped things to fix things after the my dash lights worked the the windows worked the central locking worked and a new light on the dash telling me my seat belt was off came on A fog light cause were I live we get fog and you can see one of the parking sensors s373.photobucket.com/user/tomschevette/media/2013-09-03181213_zpsee13d392.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1The parking sensors match the color of the car lower trim And I washed it I also moved house so off street parking I put a bit of tape on the lights as well just for a laugh and it still on there

Nardi wheel is definitely worth a few squid. They are in the region of £200+ new and are very sought after in certain circles.

I've been to busy to update this sorry a lot has happen the front is now a Levin front side skirts are Levin too and the car is just waiting for paint So from the start in order to get the Levin wings to fit I needed to cut my old ones and Levin ones to make them fit Had to make up some mounting points for the bumper bar and lights And all on wasn't that easy as there was some work need to the bonnet hinge and catch as well as the Levin lights This are the skirts I got Levin front seats as there lower and hold you better Another set of wheels And this is the way the car sits now Also painted the brake caliper too as it now as disk on the back This is all that as gone wrong the gearbox went bang a rubber break pipe as a chunk missing out of it engine tried to make a break for it Waiting its new gearbox Goodridge brake hose in blue And the engine breaking free moment Add to all that I have another engine which is waiting for a turbo install and on the look out for a BZR Levin for the superstrut suspension for the front it will take me from single pot to twin pot caliper and still looking for a corolla BZ wagon boot with the newer looking back lights

I got the wagon in prime for now You'll never know the front is of a Levin and the side skirts are too I also got two new back lights And the biggest bit a hole uprated front suspension from a Levin GTZ superstrut, twin pot front brake calipers, uprated front and rear anti roll bars and a set of lowering springs that should sort out the boat like handling

That front end really does look much better than the stock, going to be a great motor at the end of all the hard work. Great effort all round!

Thanks Speedle the Levin front is more sporter looking and suits the car better. Did notice a few thing after putting it on the car burns less petrol and is running a hole lot cooler so a big bonus there I say
