About time I introduced myself and my erm small collection. Brought up in the UK in Manchester and loving seeing all the cars on here I grew up with in the 80's/90's but have since moved to Sydney 16 years ago.
Strung together a bit of a collection of dubs whilst I've been over here.
My first beetle, still in my dad's garage in Ireland, and used by him and whenever I get over there:-
Now on to sunnier climes, all the rest are in Sydney........
58 LHD 23 window bus
58 Aussie delivered 356A and my 65 Devon camper (that made its way over here in the 70's overland across Africa)
54 RHD Oval cabrio beetle ( a UK delivery car )
55 single cab Type 2 ( an NZ assembled car in original paint/condition )
61 beetle cabrio undergoing a bit of a Germanlook (one of the 14 only official cabrio imported into Australia for the 1961 Melbourne Motor Show)
Nice low mileage 65 Notchback
69 LHD Westy camper we just imported from California after having a family holiday touring California
And finally a project 60 LHD 356B that I am putting back together
I will be trimming the herd down soon as its hard being the proverbial mechanical gigilo to so many beautiful ladies at the one time.
Cheers
