This is a little side project I have been doing, a 1960 Triang Pedal Car. It was bought new in 1960 by my grandfather for my dads first birthday, my dad then gave it to me back in 1996 when I was two. There is still quite a bit of blasting, sanding and derusting to do, plus there are a few dings and dents that do not show up on camera that need attention but it's getting there, slowly. With many hours of research I was lucky enough to find the original paint code for the front panel, rear panel and the wheels. I had them painted last week and they came out surprisingly well, I'm hoping to have the body painted by the end of the month.

Looking good. I'm currently in the midst of doing one of these for my 1 year old daughter (though probably nowhere near the standard you're going to by the looks of things!). Good luck with it.

Lovely! I had one of these when I was a child. It was bought by my parents when I was about 3 (1968) mine was blue with white front and back. This takes me right back. Good luck with it.

Thanks. I'm currently on the look out for a blue one, if I remember rightly don't they have police stickers on the side? Thanks, I dropped the body off at the paint shop today and am hoping to have it back within a couple of weeks .

Thanks. I'm currently on the look out for a blue one, if I remember rightly don't they have police stickers on the side? The common blue body models had either the 'Bermuda' stickers or 'Panda Police Patrol' stickers on. There are others available though such as 'police squad car' or 'squad car' On the very off chance you are not aware of it repros of all stickers can be found via triang.nl triang.nl/decalspedalcars.html

Hi great restoration so far i see. You can get all the decals from triangnl or parts for pedal cars. Yesterday i brought a triang bermuda to restore myself for my three young children. Where did you find the colour code? Been doing some investigating and I'm struggling with mine.
Keep up with the good work
