Apparently I need to get rid of one car before I can have another, so unfortunately the old girl drew the short straw
I've had it for just over two year, and it's been a delight to run around in, always getting looks and the usual "Don't see many of those around any more" comments.
Genuine 37,000 miles, 1 old gentleman had it before me that clocked up a mere 28,000, but still had it serviced regardless of the fact he'd only done several hundred miles since the last service!
Disappointingly little history with it, but the service book is there fully stamped and even stamped on the back page when he ran out of places to have it stamped
I had some running problems last winter, having put three or four new sets of plugs on as it seemed to cure it, new leads then followed until we put it on a gas analyser and it was worryingly lean on idle, mixture screw did nothing so I bought a refurb kit for the carb, unfortunately this didn't help so had to bite the bullet and bought a brand new 28-32 (IIRC) Weber carb. After getting it all set up she now runs like a pearl and has been faultless ever since.
I honestly don't think you'll find another in such a condition, it's not "mint" as most people seem to call their less than perfect cars, but it wouldn't need much work to become show condition. There's some minor rust that I've highlighted in the pictures, I had some paint mixed up in a rattle can that I can supply, I simply haven't got around to getting it done. It wouldn't take a weekend to get it sorted.
It's been serviced and maintained by myself in my ownership, and pampered every weekend to keep it tip top.
Have you ever seen such a rust-free battery tray?

And the little amounts of rust..
Not sure how to price it as I haven't come across another 3 door for sale, especially with such low mileage.
£900 takes it as I need a new project!
I'm after a late spec 2.3 940 turbo manual, I'd be tempted with a swap.
