1980 Ford Escort RS2000 Custom in Cordoba Beige, Sensibly priced at £4000.
Please note this is a project car, needs a bit of work to get it back on the road.
It's been off the road since 1996.
It starts and runs, engine and 4 speed close ratio gearbox are great, pulls well in all gears, car is complete but tatty.
Has a ridiculous electric sunroof that leaks, so roof would ideally need re-skinning.
Needs front end work to the inner wings, wing rails, slam panel, kick plates, and there's a few holes in the front footwells, the car has had a fair bit of welding and plating at the front end over the years and requires a bit of attention in this area.
The Floor has been ziebarted from new. No signs of welding or previous repairs anywhere underneath from the front footwells back, including the boot and rear inner arches.
The paintwork is poor, body shows signs of filler in places, nothing unusual for a car of this age thats been off the road for so long.
The interior is brown and has been removed so the bodywork can be inspected. Seats are recaro fishnets with the usual worn bolsters. There are speaker holes in the door cards.
Comes with 5 x correct RS alloys in excellent condition with very good tyres. Also comes with 4 steel wheels to save using the alloys for storage.
Viewing is highly recommended if you are seriously considering it but if distance is an issue I can get lots of photos and videos. Vehicle is located in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland.

I recently saw a fully restored RS in the same shade of beige and it looked amazing. However I have to disagree about the sunroof it's truly awful and looks even worse in the flesh haha.
