Okay guys 1999 Mercedes E300TD for sale,
195000 miles and services owned my myself for the last 10k and performed an oil and filter change every 3k.
Car also runs lovely on Veg or Bio if your that way inclined (better than my previous VAG TDi engines)
Legendary OM606 3 Litre Straight 6 Turbo Diesel engine (177bhp standard I believe)
Full Leather interior, back of headrest on drivers seat is ripped, rest is in good condition.
Car runs perfectly mechanically, has cruise control and is a very comfy car.
Had two dents on the bootlid, and has rust creeping in on every arch, also there is a nice hole in the front right wing but the car is still 'solid'.
Looked underneath the car and it is solid just the body-work has suffered (a trait which all W210 Mercedes suffer from)
Anyway the reason in selling as i originally bought this car last year because I planned on stripping the engine pit to put in my '74 Mercedes and then breaking the rest of the car (the leather interior is worth about £250 on its own).
Anyway in the end I enjoyed the Merc as a daily to much to break it as it was such a wonderful car that I decided to just keep it and found an original engine for my '74.
Also when i tried to the remove the 2 alloy wheels I can't get the wheel bolts off so the wheel will have to either be cut off or another method devised (the tyres are now both below the legal limit, however I have two part worns with 3mm+ tread I will thow in).
Other than all this the car is a good daily or doner car for someone who wants the engine and then can strip the rest of the car. (The reason I'm not doing this is because my unit is full of 70's Mercedes parts so I just don't have the space to do it.
Just cashed the TAX in so now SORN, MOT until May (which i believe it would pass with some gaffer tape over the hole in the front wing.
I want £500 for the car, did have it up for more with the TAX but obviously now SORN.

Also note I leant the car to my brother for a couple or days while his car was off the road and the exhaust has now developed a blow, and the passengers electric wing mirror does not fold in electrically.
