Hi All! Well at the request of my work mate to join up and show off "some of my terrible choices in cars" I'm starting with my newest little buddy. Peugeot 309 Trio S Info: 53k miles 1.4 (1360cc) TU3 engine with the Solex 32/34 Z2 carb etc etc Pics speak a 1000 words so here we go: Worst corner of the car: Interior isn't to bad, bit damp in a few corners and the glovebox is missing (standard problem on 309's) Engine bay before a good clean up After a quick clean: Bought as a bit of a find really, hidden in the back of a local garage for 4 years apparently. Came with 12months mot and full service history. I'm not sure what I want to do to it yet, its a nice example of a Trio. I'm just using it to get to work and collect garden and DIY materials in it at the mo. Lovely big boot :-p The rear bumper is cracked so I picked up these two GTi bumpers from a local scrapyard. Should look nice when cleaned up!

Nice looking Pug you've got yourself. I like 309's. My parents had 2 of them when I was younger. Is the 205 yours as well? 205's are a fantastic little car, I've had 5 of those over the years.

Awww I love that trailer! Great idea. Yeah the 205 is mine too, but its going to the scrapyard as some kids set fire to it :-( I also have another pair of 205's that aren't being scrapped, but they're a work in progress :-)

Mate you should go to the Retro Fundraising in Martock beginning of July.... Mine wouldn't be the only 309 there then! www.retrofundraising.co.uk. ... Never been, but looks like a laugh... Plus it's all for charity!

well some progress made. Running issues fully sorted with a new ignition module. Have swapped the broken rear lenses and stopped the leak in the boot. I've also removed the spoiler in order to strip the paint off and take it back to black. Then I fitted my Gti bumpers and Speedlines that I'd refurbed previously. Its all looking rather nice at the moment. His and Hers sat together in the sun Rear beam and brake pipes need a good look at, as does the interior. I've also got some nice new shocks and springs to fit.
