Here is my very dependable and very useful old Merc. I don't need such a big car any more, so it is time to move it on.
This is the car that proves all the old Mercedes cliches are true. It has done a quarter of a million miles (just run in, etc, etc.) but still starts straight up and runs very smoothly. The auto box works as it should. Everything feels solid and well made. It has some nice features, like an electric sunroof, electric mirrors and electric window. It even has a decent Blaupunkt CD player and Kenwood speakers. It is a full 7 seater, with two rear facing seats that fold away flat. The boot, as you would imagine, is cavernous.
The engine is the 3 litre, straight 6 diesel. The best bit is that it runs happily on 100% waste veg oil, so running costs are very low.
This is an old car, however, so it is not perfect. There is the odd bubble and bit of lacquer peel on the paintwork. The interior isn't bad, apart from the usual wear to the drivers seat. Overall, it is quite a presentable car.
This might be a long shot, but I would trade on a hot rod project.
Thanks for looking,
Stewart
