Here's a sneak peak of my RRG project this year. Not too long back I acquired this little R5 GTX wasn't sure what I wanted to do at first but after a burst of enthusiasm I got an MOT on it and am deciding to have it as my OAP+ track going fuddy duddy car for RRG 14 as my bug as much as I love it, isn't very fast but this 1.7 f2n in the renault is cool as you like. Will update with more pics as the stance takes shape. I'm after some nice 4x100 rims to start it off plus need to get some of the silencers out of the exhaust system and run straight through into the standard back box!

That's cool, you don't see too many of these around let alone the four door ones

You've done the hardest part, lowering the rear Now everything is simple from here on. Waiting to see the rims.

Yeah I'm thinking some Clio turbines would look good but tbh will just paint the steels for now and keep OAPing it. It's a GTX and unusual in a 5 dr

It is an unusual combo.
What about 14/15" steels with low pros & wheel trims? That said turbines looks awesome on just about everything.

Yeah anything like that would look cool ATS classics would be nice as mentioned!
Love having a car this age with Central locking and electric windows, plus it's bloody quick!

Good idea, I'm thinking maybe just one inch band on these in gloss black to fatten it up modestly would look cool

I searched high and low for one of these when I was in my teens. Cheaper insurance than the 5 Turbo, was a big plus

15" Clio steels with 165/50's would look really cool on this.

Cheers is a spot on car for performance and cheap running costs. Wheels definitely need sorting though, just need the time
