It does look ok in those pics, The work i want to do is more cleaning up and detailing, I have a few odd noises on it aswell, So i am going to replace all the obvious worn parts, As you probably know your budget can get silly quite fast lol Pics always make things look better! Good luck with it. Tbh I've spent curse word all so far (touch wood!), still under £200 since we got it. Result

Got these to do the points and rocker gaps on Sunday Hangover got the better of me though!! Soooo decided to put the awning up and see what it was like. After much head scratching and swearing (no instructions..) we finally got the poxy thing up. It is huge! A Just Kampers thingy, plenty of room to party in here.. So today I spent some time on the paint. Because the camo vinyl was clear coated over there are huge ridges where we peeled it off. It's going to get paint eventually but for now I want to get it looking better. Here's what I mean After some w&d action followed by cutting compound and polish it looks a lot better Not perfect but I'm happy for now Need a DA really though as it'll take foooorever to do it all by hand!!

Cool machine and a serious bargain. Well done to ye! thanks mate Not done curse word all else really, found some matching carpet to cover the sliding door erm.. Door card.. £2.99 a square m! wifey wants to put some on the roof in above driver/passenger seat, I kinda like the the 43 year old metal but she will have the final say as it is hers.. We pulled the scabby "aircooled & tax free" sticker off the rear window, had a new one to put on. We didn't need it though, where the windows have been tinted years ago the sun has faded the tints except where the sticker was. It looks cool as curse word imo. You can't buy things like that!! I'll get a pic at some point

I'd love to keep it how it is but it the better halfs bus, I just work on it (and drive it, cos she cant!) I told the Wife we need new back plates, she said "ok" and this roof rack got delivered...... FFS!

Made some progress over the weekend. First off was to sort the sliding door as it wouldn't open and when it did it usually ended up like this.. So one new nylon sliderthingymebob @ £14 has been fitted which is a snug fit in the rail and doesn't fall out. I also found why it's difficult to open. There's a washer with a cam on one side that releases the door catch. It's gone! So I've ordered one of them and that should fix the issue You know you're a cool camper when there's mushrooms growing in your bus!! I've also got some primer on! It's gone on well, especially as it wasn't that warm when spraying it out in the open. In my front garden..
