Now my 6th Fiat 126. I just keep coming back. My last had only been finished 6 months after a 2 year rebuild and was stolen on Christmas day and dumped in a local pond.
Due to very strict financial restraints. (AKA being skint) I am now the proud owner of this Polish LHD Fiatski
Spotted on Ebay and negotiated a great deal including delivery (without viewing).
Protected everywhere with the usual Polish tar
Car came with a few Extras. ;D
First problem, 2 flat tyres on the rear, simple fix. Aghhhhh! who the hell used locking nuts on steel wheels, then gives the key that is snapped. I am lucky that I have a universal key 'AKA angle grinder' and the wheels were removed and sorted.
The car is surprisingly solid (so far I can't see any welding needed, sills and floor look fine).
BUT! I am a bit OCD when it comes to clean engines 'see all my past cars'. This one is rather rough. I love the oil cap repair.
I have had no time to play with my new toy as my daughter has a birthday party. Tommorow I go on a rot hunt with my jet washer :-)
