Hello chaps.
I am contemplating buying a 1995 Saab 900 turbo 4 door as a donor for an engine conversion, usually in these kind of situations I will break any sought after parts off of the car and try to recoup a little bit of money and help some enthusiasts out before taking the car to the scales. Now I have no Saab experience and I don't know what they're worth, or if they are worth parting out.
So, I would be taking the following
Engine and all ancillaries inc turbo
Manifolds and exhaust, possibly Cat as well
Engine loom and ECU
Possibly radiators, transponder, halo ring.
Which would leave to following spare
Complete rolling shell with all panels
Brakes, struts and wheels
Complete interior
All glass
Interior dials
With this sort of car is there much demand for spares? Or is there even much of a market as a rolling shell?
My initial suspicions suggest I am going to be best of weighing the thing or 99p no reserve auctions.
Thanks for any help.
