Barn find condition for restoration or spare parts
This car was my dad's, and passed to me after he died. I used it as a daily runner back in the late 1990's and it was a joy to scoot about in. The car has sat under a carport from 2002, and has not been running since then. It was my intention to restore it to working order, however I have come to the revelation I do not have the time or the know-how to do this properly! Therefore it's time for it to go.
The car is in one piece, although there are many areas of rust on the bodywork. The condition of the underside is unknown, but there is rust visible on the floor pans. The boot interior is okay though. The tyres have deflated, although I am going to investigate later if they hold air. I expect the brakes may have seized, but I will investigate.
The clock reads 01,727, so I guess the mileage is 10,1726 or thereabouts.
I have the V5 document, and a Haynes manual for the model. The car doesn't have an MOT, or tax disc.
I am hoping to see the car go to someone with use for it rather than scrapping her, as I have so many good memories attached to it.
I'm asking £500 for it due to the parts it has, but I am happy to take offers. You'll need a trailer to take it away, but I'll be on hand to help manhandle it from its resting place.
Many thanks,
Byron
