Back for 2014 folks, Sunday 10th August early until 4pm. Usual format of roll up and park....stay as long as you like. Entry is first come first served so is usually full by 1030-11am. Its completely free but feel free to give me £5, £10, £20, £50 notes on the day. No clubs stands and cars must be 1990 to keep an overwhelming retro theme to the day. Here's the thread from last year with photos for a flavour of the day. Only change for this year is a little bit more space and no scooter hoards as they've got their own separate event day now. link to RW 2013Main webiste is www.retrowarwick.co.ukCheers Matt RetroWarwick event-meister Coventry MotoFest co-organiser

I'm on for this again (all being well)
Can't say that I'll be sad to not see the scooters there. They were everywhere last year, all around the cars, blocking access etc. Not to mention the bloody racket that they make! lol

Volkswagen UK are kindly bringing along a production prototype XL1 hybrid. A very rare car as there are only 3 currently in the Uk and a planned production of only 250 cars. This car has been on the "Gadget Show " and just come back on loan to Paul Stewart (Jackie Stewarts's son). Whilst not a retro car, it a future classic. The weather is expected to be a bit wet but it apppears people are still planning to come along in the morning. RetroWarwick is definitely ON, so pop along, see the cars and grab a coffee and bite to eat in the cafes and pubs in the Market Place. Cheers Matt www.retrowarwick.co.uk

Given the terrible weather this morning there was a fair turnout I thought and a few different things to have a nose around. Thanks for organising again , was good to see the XL1, definitely different.

Didn't make it this year, mostly due to the weather tbh. Not really fair dragging the kids around in the rain.
Fingers crossed for next year

Despite the weather I'm glad I dragged myself out of the flat for this as there was a nice eclectic mix of cars on show It is a shame it rained so hard as from the sounds of it, it was a really big show last year, Thanks for putting it on and hopefully there'll be better weather next year
