This has already been discussed briefly in the RIP Chevazon thread and the Northeast group, but would anyone be up for coming to the Stonebridge in near Neville's Cross for a Bacon Buttie meet? Chevazon used to organise this and a couple of people thought it would be good to have another one in his honour. I was thinking 27th of July, two weeks today. Let me know and I'll get onto the pub and see if it's do-able. Cheers, Anth.

Provisionally yes as it'll be very near to where I'm moving to (hopefully before next weekend) and should be settled by then. If only I'd been moving sooner I stood a chance of meeting him in person rather than in passing on the forum  |

Hi again people, 6 or 7 of us for the 27th so far. Feel a bit cheeky asking the landlord to lay bacon sarnies on if the turnout isn't massive, would everyone still be up for meeting up at the Stonebridge if there were no porcine products available?

Spoke to Mike at the Stonebridge Inn and he's fine with us turning up at 10 on the 27th July, he says he'll put bacon sarnies on (just got to let him know the day before how many's going) or they do the best Sunday lunch around apparently! (you'll have to book that yourself though). I'll do one more count next Friday of who's coming then we'll go from there...
