With a very heavy heart I think I'm going to have to part with my Neo green Mazda Eunos (imported MX5)
Ive had this for just over a year (I think, I'm at work so will update exact dates later) again I need to double check but I think I'm the 3rd UK owner.
Milleage is currently 125000Km = approx 75k miles (this will go up as in daily use) it has approx 10 months MOT and taxed till end of Aug.
I bought this with the intention of keeping it for a long time, however we have now had a baby and I cant justify keeping it as it only has two seats.
When I bought it had a few niggles, so I changed the headlamp stalk (as lights were flashing on and off), had a new rain rail installed (so now car is totaly watertight) and car had oil and filter change at Roddies. It also had signs of rust appearing on the drivers side sill so Painter Dave fitted a repair section and painted up, the stone chip is a little thicker than OEM but only noticable on close inspection.
The car's bodywork is very good, it has a couple of tiny marks here and there but no rust, hood has no rips and is watertight (being the Eunos it also has a glass rear window with demister)
Inside is also excellent, the drivers seat shows a little wear to the leather and has a few cracks but no rips and better than most you will see.
The car is a lot of fun to drive and it drives really well, the only downside is that it has(I think)a gearbox rattle on overrun at approx 2.5k revs. I'm told this is common but I havent had it properly investigated and it hasnt changed since I bought it.
This is probably one of the best specs there is:-
114 BHP (better than the UK 88bhp)
Electric Windows
Power Steering
Air con (needs regassing but compresser works)
L.S.D
Leather seats with speakers in the headrest
Longer nose crank so no crank shaft worries
I am up for a swap for a more practical car (must have more than two seats though) or £1500.00 cash.
I'm not sure on posting pictures (hoping for some help here!) but here are the links:-
