They are pretty nice to drive, I got mine because it was the car I wanted when I was 17 and started driving, having been in my mates dads new 325 and Girlfiends dads new M3, I managed to get a half way house in the 328i shame mine hasn't moved in 3 yrs!

I have had an early 325i saloon and that shifted i used to enjoy driving it. Had a 316 compact too but that was a little underpowered. I'm already planning mods and don't even have it yet. Will put some more pics up tomorrow. E36's have an awesome look especialy coupe's and cabbys.

I'd rather loose by a mile cause I built my own car than win by an inch because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let anyone else write the book.

The E36 has a lovely shape and I think it still looks fresh today. I cannot wait to see more pictures of your motor...

Picked the car up last night and tucked it away, got home today and gave it a much deserved bath (been parked under a tree at the dealer). It needs a few jobs to make it tidy but i have plans for it anyway. Now after a good clean. Need to replace an indicator lens but I'm going for clears anyhow. They have an awesome stance. Wheels came up a treat with a little wonder wheels. Mileage is low for an E36 too. It looks lower than my E36 saloon I used to have do coupes have sports suspension? Was going to polish and hoover it but thunder and rain stopped play.

Since joining the forum and reading a few threads the e36 has really grown on me.
They are pretty solid and it really does take just a few minor modifications to turn them into a cracking looking car.
Have you decided what your first mod will be yet?
Good luck

She was a dealer px so a complete steal at 350 pounds with MOT. Plans are.. Replace the indicators with clears 2.5 inlet and larger throttle body Induction kit with heat shield Replace all the suspension bushes with poly bushes Get rid of the miss matched remoulds for a set of Toyo's Lowering not sure if i will go for Bilstein shocks and spring package or coil overs Interior is tired and driver seat is split so replacing with Black leather attend to the small laquer peel on the leading edge of the wings. upgrade the discs and pads when funds allow a turbo kit from the states. but other than that just enjoy it daily and get some track days in.

Not a bad price that!
Looks really nice, I do have a soft spot for the E36, I've only ever had the saloon version (318i and a 325tds) but a drop and a nice set of wheels will set this off wonders.
It's got the black trim around the windows, so I would think of doing the front kidney grills black as well, just to give the front end a meaner look. I did that with a green E34 520i that I had and it looked a lot more aggressive, even before I fitted the sport kit!

Small update. Been a bit busy with everyone else's cars in the family of late so neglecting my own. Plus the weather of late hasn't helped lol. One if the amber indicators was broken when i got the car so a set of clears was sourced of ebay for 14 quid posted. Also my son has an E46 318i and for his 21st his girlfriend got him lowering springs. So after fitting these he went a bought a set of second hand M3 wheels, and because i was looking at buying 3 new tyres for my alloys he gave me his old ones for doing his springs. All have 6mm tread and make the car look a little more modern as they are 16 inch rather than 15. next job is the rear shock top mounts and the front lower arms.

I do like that style wheel on these.
I've just bought a K reg 320i Coupe and have been watching a few sets of these wheels on eBay to replace the standard wheels
