Ebisu Spring Matsuri
So, some of you may know (I tried to tell everyone, as its been a dream of mine since I was 12ish) that I finally made it to Japan this year, with the help of Hardcore of this parish and our respective ladies. As we all know, Hardcore only takes photos in order to steal peoples souls and lock them in his Hard Drive, so I thought I best dig out some of my efforts.
I will try and post the pictures of the Mooneyes show we went to as well as Ebisu in separate threads, this one is purely for random tat we saw on the street... or indeed next to it.
Now as these were street shots, a lot of them are either a) badly taken or b) done on a phone or c) both. There is no real order here either!
It is amazing what you find just pottering down backstreets and whatnot...
...like a BMW E24 Alpina anyone? Just in a normal driveway. Think this was in Tokyo on the way to the Skytree.
This one wasn't even hiding! Just parked all casual like on the main street in Harajuku.
Returning to our Hostel in Hiroshima (I said these weren't in order!) to discover an AE86 in the carpark.... dark + cameraphone = blurrrrrrrrrrrrr
Also Hiroshima, which seemed to have a decent population of VIP-esque motors cruising the streets of a night time.
Hardcore got all excited about togging a Mercedes on the opposite side of this car park that he walked past this "You photographing the wrong car!" I said.... (The merc was also pretty cool.... I didnt take a picture though....)
No I don't know either.... made me chuckle though!
As a truckist I loved these things, that side opening mech is super cool. Hardcore wanted to make one into a mobile stage... turn up, pop the side, play!
Just parked on the street, found whilst we were looking for a museum that seemed to be located on a building site. Roof rack air deflector is more of a US thing no?
Just parked on a side street somewhere in Tokyo..... thats not moved for a little while! Poor old thing
You cant own an MPV in these apartments! Best fill it with something cool then! Strangely this was about 100 yards up the road from the blue rotting Datsun
Soooo, we went on a mission to find another Up!Garage after a successful trip to their 'Drift' division, but sadly... despite being a 'Wheels' specialist it was a bit rubs. Out the back however....
Some amazing shonk just rotting into the ground.
Part 2 coming in a mo!
