Any good web resource for info on stuff like this: Really like the style, not sure where to begin researching them though! Also, would like to see more pics of similarly cool cars/wheels! (preferably with names/info)

I tried googling but it's hard when you have nothing to go on beyond "cool Japanese retro alloys" Thanks for the info so far, now I just need to see if I can get the in ford fitment or convince my brother to get some (christmas present maybe!)

forum member Ratdat had a nice website, with a page dedicated to cool, old japanese wheels, so you could click through a page full of wheels, most of them named, but the site is not online anymore? Sadly

dugong what are those? Is the centre piece removable? Gonna need some long bolts if not. I love them though From what I can tell, they're Enkei D202s - 13 x 4.5" There's quite a bit of depth between the outer and inner faces jayom - the photos don't show it very well. but the bolt holes have splined steel inserts which have rotted. A decent machine shop will be able to take them out and tap some new ones in. These mad things are coming tomorrow for my Charade. I love those, would be great on a cube but i guess they're 4x114? Think again. Daihatsus have weird stud patterns; Mazda's rear wheel drive cars used a 4 x 110 stud pattern until the mid-'Eighties I think. Luckyseven will know. When the SA22C went, the FD3 went over to 5 x 114.3mm. Nowadays the only things that use 4 x 110 are those ATV things scallies use to round up sheep. Daihatsu went over to 4 x 100 on the G100 I think. As for 4 x 108 wheels, some Compomotive CXs fit on a friend's Cuore, but I wanted a set of wheels that was a: odd b: spot-on PCD-wise.

Yeah, early Mazdas used 4x110. Till the second series of RX-7, in fact. It's most annoying because decent wheels in that PCD are rarer than unicorn dung! Series 3 RX-7 (like mine) are 4x114.3 and from the Series 4 onward (the one that looks like a Porsche 944) they were 5x114.3. Mazda love to change things just for the sake of it...

Yes, Mazda are mental. That's why they're wonderful.
