all of this and more. again, i don't want you to see this as me having a dig, as i also really like the look of the kit youve put together- especially the back end- bar but my biggest issue is I'm struggling to see who you are marketing this car at. the kit is, lets face it, bloody expensive. so expensive that to buy a donor, fit the kit, fit appropriate wheels to fill out the arches, then paint it to a reasonable standard, youre going to have to sink around £7k into it, and thats keeping a tight hold on the budget. to finish it to a higher standard and to do the necessary v8 swap so it isnt just a sheep in wolfs clothing, i think £10k would be a conservative estimate. but for that money, you can just go out and buy any number of real prestige sportscars from various brands(tvr, lotus, porsche, etc), without all the hassle of having to build it. (hell, you can get a reasonable boxster for less than youre asking for the kit) probably the most comparable vehicle from another manufacturer is a lotus elise- you can get an ok one for 6-7k quite easily. i think who you are trying to sell this to needs to be your biggest consideration, because without careful marketing to find your buyers, i cant see this going very far to be honest.

I spent all afternoon trying to figure out what the rear lights were off, I knew I had seen them before. Then sat in traffic on my way home, one went past lol, in fact 2 did - 1 with this style and 1 with the other style

Looks lovely Wayne, but you definitely need to take some pictures elsewhere...ideally with someone who knows their way around a DSLR. Or go out with a decent phone and edit the photos in photoshop etc. Nice photos will be a sure way to attract some attention. Good luck!

Loads of potential. Great effort. Does it end up lighter or heavier than the donor MX5?

I've always kind of wanted an mx5, but never wanted to be seen in one. You've solved that quite brilliantly! That looks awesome, and I'm guessing that it shaves a little weight off the original car. Nice work!
